Jeff Daro
![]() |
Jeff has been playing guitar and working as an amatuer song writer for over 20 years. Born and raised in New Jersey, Jeff has played with various bands like Under Budget, Five to One, and others over the years. His projects have run the gamut from acoustic folk duets, to full on punk rock.
Most recently Jeff was the lead guitarist and a background vocalist for the Ellicott City, MD based band SilentJ that played a mix of 90's rock and originals in clubs from Baltimore to Northern Virginia for 3 years. You can hear examples of his playing on SilentJ's 2007 EP release Mend, which is available in its entirety on Amazon.com. The individual tracks can be heard at last.fm, Grooveshark or any number of web based stations.
Jeff is a huge fan of all varieties of music. In his list of influences, he includes Porcupine Tree, Pink Floyd, David Gilmore, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Tool, Van Halen, Better Than Ezra, Tom Petty, Dave Matthews, and a plethora more of odd and ecentric combinations. It's not unusual to hear music blaring from Jeff's car or house on any given day, and the tune could be anything from Sinatra to Metallica, or Muse to Katy Perry.
Jeff publishes his demo's on Soundcloud pretty often. You can subscribe there, to hear his works in progress before they become Meridian One tunes.
Jeff has in fact kissed a girl...and he liked it. He's clear...he's concise...and a little bit Raucous.
