Most recently Kevin was the drummer and a background vocalist for the Ellicott City, MD based band SilentJ that played a mix of 90's rock and originals in clubs from Baltimore to Northern Virginia for the last 3 years. You can hear examples of his playing on SilentJ's 2007 EP release Mend, which is available in its entirety on Amazon.com. The individual tracks can be heard at last.fm, Grooveshark or any number of web based stations.

Before that, for six years he was a member of the Sunset Band based out of New Orleans, playing everything from Jimmy Buffett to Jimi Hendrix in venues throughout the New Orleans, Baton Rouge and Mississippi Gulf Coast region. Currently as a side project to Shoebucket, Kevin plays drums and percussion in A Rose Between 2 Thorns, a Celtic rock band based in Frederick,MD.

In addition to being a big Beatles fan, some of his favorite artists are Led Zeppelin, Zebra (never heard of them? Check them out at thedoor.com!), Green Day, REM, The Who, Matthew Sweet, The Knack, Aimee Mann, and The Smithereens, and he counts Ringo, John Bonham, Tre Cool, and Guy Gelso of Zebra as major influences.
